Thank you for choosing IoT Satellite Connect! We’re excited to have you on board and help you get connected quickly and easily.
Basic steps to get your IoT project ready to use Satellite Connect:

1. Contact us
Our team will help you define your IoT project requirements. Including the specific application, geographical areas of coverage, expected data volume, and any unique needs specific to you.

2. Your Credentials
You will receive credentials to access the T IoT Hub. You can see details of how Satellite Connect works and select the perfect solution for your project in the IoT Store.

3. Hardware delivery
After ordering Satellite Connect, you will receive the required hardware components in preparation for the installation setup. You will receive:
Cellular router: Teltonika RUTx11
and
Satellite antenna: Parabolic antenna powered by Intelsat
or
Satellite antenna: Cobham Explorer 323 powered by Viasat

4. Onboarding call (optional)
An assigned specialist from Deutsche Telekom will contact you to support the setup of your project.

5. Installation
Satellite Connect powered by Intelsat: Tivity, a Deutsche Telekom partner, will contact you to schedule the installation. They will be responsible for completing your end-to-end setup service: Mounting the satellite antenna, connecting it to the satellite modem or gateway, and establishing proper cabling and connections.
Satellite Connect powered by Viasat: Please note that the installation and commissioning of the product fall under your responsibility. For proper implementation, we recommend referring to the relevant user manuals (Teltonika RUTx11 and Cobham Explorer 323). Make sure to connect the cellular and satellite hardware via ethernet.

6. Setup your device
With T IoT Hub, you can combine (group) cellular and satellite connectivity to configure your hybrid connectivity for each of your sites. At this stage, you will associate the cellular and satellite connectivity products with your devices, and configure under which circumstances you would like to use which type of connectivity.

7. Billing
Once you complete your setup, you will receive monthly invoices. The invoices will be sent directly to the responsible person from your company. No billing information will be stored on T IoT Hub.

8. Contact support
- The packages may arrive separately. Delivery dates may vary according to your location.
